Peace! My name is Oliver. I was born in Germany and I have lived in the country for a very long time. My experience working as a nursing worker begins at the beginning of the millennium when I worked in one of Akim's hostels in Jerusalem - "Beit Yulia" (which was the first of its kind). A hostel designed to integrate people with moderate to more severe mental difficulties into the community. My job included providing guidance and physical assistance if needed. The hostel occupants were 40-70 years old. This work (like any therapy work) required the ability to listen, understand and "read" the group dynamics, mediate conflicts and respond to the world not impulsively but from a place of identification from a considerate place with any situation that may arise.
